When you connect your Instagram account to Insteed, we collect certain information via the Meta Graph API to provide our services:

  • Account Information: Your Instagram ID, username, and profile name.
  • Access Tokens: Secure tokens provided by Meta to interact with the Instagram Graph API on your behalf.
  • Messaging Data: We receive webhook notifications for comments and direct messages to trigger your configured automations. We do not store the content of your messages permanently beyond what is needed to process the automation.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to:

  • Provide automated replies to your Instagram comments and messages.
  • Maintain and improve the functionality of the App.
  • Communicate with you regarding service updates or technical issues.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. Your data is only shared with Meta as part of the standard API interactions required for the App's core functionality.

5. Data Deletion and Retention

We retain your account data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services.

How to Delete Your Data

You can request the deletion of your data at any time by:

  1. Logging into Insteed and disconnecting your Instagram account.
  2. Removing the Insteed App from your Facebook/Instagram "Apps and Websites" settings.
  3. Contacting us at support@insteed.in with the subject "Data Deletion Request."

Upon request, we will delete all your access tokens and account records from our database within 48 hours.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your access tokens and account information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
